Renowned Indian bodybuilder and actor Varinder Singh Ghuman has passed away at the age of 53 due to a heart attack. Ghuman, who worked in Salman Khan's blockbuster film 'Tiger 3' (2023), was a well-known personality in both Punjab and Bollywood.

The 53-year-old Varinder passed away due to a heart attack. According to reports, he had gone to Fortis Hospital in Amritsar for a minor biceps surgery and was expected to return the same day. However, his condition deteriorated during the surgery, leading to his death.
Varinder's death was confirmed by Punjab's former Deputy Chief Minister and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa on his X (formerly Twitter) account. Varinder Singh Ghuman was not only a renowned bodybuilder but had also made a name for himself in Bollywood. He appeared in Salman Khan's film 'Tiger 3' (2023).
Sudden Demise Leaves Everyone Stunned
According to media reports, Varinder Singh Ghuman had visited Fortis Hospital in Amritsar for a minor surgery. He was scheduled for a minor biceps surgery and planned to return home the same day. However, during the surgery, he unexpectedly suffered a heart attack and breathed his last at the hospital. This unforeseen incident has left his family, friends, and fans in deep shock.
Punjab's former Deputy Chief Minister and MP Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa expressed deep sorrow over his demise on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). He wrote in Punjabi:
'My heart is deeply saddened to hear the news of the sudden demise of Punjab's renowned bodybuilder and actor, Virender Singh Ghuman ji. Through his hard work, discipline, and dedication, he brought fame to Punjab worldwide. May Waheguru ji grant peace to his soul and strength to his family during this tragic time.'
Similarly, former captain of the Indian hockey team, Parjat Singh, also paid tribute to Ghuman. He wrote that Varinder Singh was a disciplined and inspiring athlete who, by adopting a completely vegetarian lifestyle, showed the world that dedication matters more than diet in fitness.

Varinder Singh Ghuman was not just an actor, but an inspiration. He was India's first purely vegetarian professional bodybuilder.
