While big-budget films like War 2, made with a hefty 400 crore budget, had high expectations from audiences, they failed to leave a significant impact despite their superstars. On the other hand, Gujarati cinema has presented a film made on a mere 10 crore budget that has stunned viewers.

Entertainment: In Indian cinema, discussions about horror films often revolve around Bollywood productions. Despite large budgets, superstars, and extensive promotion, most Hindi horror films fail to meet audience expectations. However, the Gujarati film "Vash Level 2" has proven that with a good story and b direction, even a small-budget film can be made that sends chills down the viewers' spines.
Story of the Film
The film's story is extremely frightening and shocking. After eating in a school canteen, 10 girls suddenly start behaving strangely. They climb onto the school roof and jump off one by one. The remaining girls then begin committing horrific acts throughout the city, which are not easy for the faint of heart to watch.
Each girl repeatedly mentions "Pratap Uncle." However, the mystery remains: who exactly is this Pratap Uncle? Why are these innocent girls so determined to destroy themselves and the city? To find the answers to these questions, viewers will have to go to the theater.
Cinematic Experience
"Vash Level 2" keeps viewers glued to their seats from beginning to end. At just under two hours, the film never feels stretched. Every scene brings a new twist and shocks the audience. The film also makes one wonder why Bollywood spends crores and still serves up weak content, while regional cinema is creating such impactful stories even with limited budgets.
The film's greatest strength is its acting. Janki Bodiwala creates such terror with her expressions and looks that the audience shudders. Although her role could have been even bigger. Hitu Kanodia, Hiten Kumar, and Monal Gajjar have also acted brilliantly. Every artist has played their character with such sincerity that the film's impact is deepened.
Writing & Direction
The film's writer and director, Krishnadev Yagnik, has done a wonderful job. His writing keeps the audience constantly engaged. Also, he kept the film's length to just under two hours, which makes the story feel impactful without any burden. Yagnik has shown that horror films can have not only jump scares, but also a b narrative. The film's climax could have been a little better, but overall it does not disappoint the audience.
