Preparations and Rituals for the Puja
First, thoroughly clean your tools, machines, and workplace, and purify them with Ganga water. For the puja, spread a red or yellow cloth on a low stool (chowki) and place an idol or picture of Lord Vishwakarma on it. Establish a Kalash (pot) by invoking Lord Ganesha, placing water, betel nut, coins, and flowers inside it.
Puja Materials and Mantra Chanting
In the puja thali (plate), keep roli (vermilion), akshat (unbroken rice), flowers, sweets, fruits, and incense sticks and lamps. Perform the aarti of Lord Vishwakarma and offer him bhog. Afterward, apply roli-akshat to your tools and machines and worship them as well. During the puja, chanting the mantra “Om Vishwakarmanye Namah” is essential.
