Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is scheduled to visit Noida and Greater Noida on Saturday, during which he will lay the foundation stones for and inaugurate development and investment projects worth ₹9,228 crore. The visit includes projects related to industrial development, infrastructure expansion and public facilities.
The Chief Minister's programme covers works linked to roads, urban infrastructure, industrial development, public amenities and other development projects. The projects are expected to improve connectivity, accelerate investment and create new employment opportunities in the region.
During the visit, the Chief Minister will also review the progress of various projects and hold discussions with officials on ongoing development works. An interaction with investors and representatives from industry has also been proposed to encourage industrial investment in the state.
The administration has made extensive security arrangements for the Chief Minister's visit. Police personnel and administrative officials have been deployed at the programme venues, while necessary traffic diversions and security measures have been implemented to ensure smooth traffic management.
Noida and Greater Noida are developing as major industrial and information technology hubs in the country. The new projects are expected to further strengthen the region's infrastructure and improve the investment environment.
According to the state government, the large-scale development works are aimed at accelerating industrial development in Uttar Pradesh, increasing employment opportunities and providing better urban amenities to citizens. The local administration has appealed to the public to follow the traffic advisory issued for the programme, as temporary changes to traffic arrangements may be introduced on certain routes for security reasons.
