Yogi Adityanath: The monsoon session of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly will commence on August 11 and conclude on August 14. Before the session, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appealed to all legislators to engage in positive and constructive discussions in the House. He requested the opposition not to create unnecessary disruptions, otherwise the public will hold them accountable. Important issues related to the state's development, such as floods, health, and education, will be discussed in this session. At the same time, the Samajwadi Party has expressed dissatisfaction with the short four-day session.
CM Yogi's Appeal for Positive Discussions
Before the start of the monsoon session, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, in a conversation with journalists, asked the legislators to maintain a positive and constructive dialogue in the House. He expressed his expectation that the opposition parties would not create unnecessary obstacles in the session and would focus on the state's development works. The CM said that this session is important for fulfilling the aspirations of 25 crore people of Uttar Pradesh and that important subjects like floods, waterlogging, health and education will be discussed.
Opposition's Objection and Political Dispute
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party has expressed its displeasure over the limited four-day session. SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav called it an attempt to hide the failures of the government. He said that such a short session is not appropriate for democracy and that public interest issues will not be adequately discussed in it. This attitude of the opposition may increase the political heat in the proceedings of the upcoming session.
