Lucknow: A terrible accident occurred on Wednesday during idol immersion at Manjhua Ghat (near Chandrika Devi Road) in the Bakshi Ka Talab area. A total of five people went into the water—four of whom were rescued by fishermen in time. However, a 20-year-old youth named Aman is still missing.
According to the information received, Aman is a resident of Padri village in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh. Following the incident, police and a team of divers are engaged in the search for the missing youth. More than 36 hours have passed, but so far no trace of him has been found.
