Dispute and Firing Over Not Wearing Helmets
The youths on the motorcycle, who arrived at the petrol pump around 4 am, started an argument when they were refused fuel because they were not wearing helmets. Half an hour later, the same youths returned with weapons and opened indiscriminate fire at the pump. This incident is raising concerns about security in the area.
Pump operator Tej Narayan Singh Narwariya sustained a gunshot wound to his right hand and was immediately admitted to the district hospital. The police have registered a case and started an investigation, and efforts are being made to identify and arrest the accused.

The entire incident was recorded by the CCTV cameras installed at the Savitri Lodhi petrol pump. The footage shows one youth continuously firing with a Mauser gun and the other with a revolver. The police are using this footage to help identify and arrest the accused.
A police official stated that a thorough investigation of all aspects of the incident is being conducted. Additional force has also been deployed to expedite security measures and the investigation.
