Dallewal's Deteriorating Health Raises Concerns

Late at night on the 93rd day of his hunger strike, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal's health suddenly deteriorated. He developed a high fever (103.6°F) and experienced shivering due to chills. While a team of doctors managed the situation, concerns remain among farmer leaders and supporters regarding his health.

Difficulties in Administering IV Drip

Dallewal's condition weakened to the point that doctors were unable to find a suitable vein, making it difficult to administer an IV drip. Cold compresses were applied to his forehead to reduce the fever. Farmer leaders Kaka Singh Kotda and Abhimanyu Kohar appealed to the central government to accept the farmers' demands and save Dallewal's life.

Appeal for Resolution from the Government

Farmer organizations urged the central government to address the farmers' key demands promptly to end Dallewal's hunger strike and provide relief to the farmers. Farmer leaders and supporters are preparing to intensify the movement to increase pressure on the government.
