Banke Bihari Temple Darshan Timings to Change Post-Holi. From March 16th, the temple doors will open at 7:45 AM and close at 9:30 PM. Cooling items will be added to the offerings (bhog).

Thakur Banke Bihari Holi: Changes will be implemented in the darshan and bhog seva for Thakur Banke Bihari Ji after Holi. From March 16th, the summer seva will commence, where the deity will be adorned in lighter clothing, and the quantity of cooling items in the offerings will be increased. Additionally, the temple opening and closing times will be altered.

Temple Opening and Closing Times to Change from March 16th

According to temple manager Munish Sharma, from Chaitra Krishna Paksha Dwitiya, March 16th, the temple doors will open at 7:45 AM and close at 12:00 PM. Previously, the temple opened at 8:45 AM. In the evening, the temple doors will open at 5:30 PM for darshan and close at 9:30 PM after the Shayanbhog Aarti. Previously, the temple doors opened at 4:30 PM and closed at 8:30 PM.

Changes in Bhog Seva as per Summer Service

After Holi, the summer seva for Thakur Ji will begin, involving changes in his attire and offerings, considering the summer heat. Lighter clothing will be used, and the offerings will include cooling and light items instead of heavier meals. This arrangement will continue until Diwali.

Widows in Vrindavan Celebrate Holi with Colors

On the occasion of Holi, widows in Vrindavan also added colors of joy to their lives. A Holi festival was organized on Tuesday at Krishna Kutir Women's Shelter in Nagla Ramtal, where widows played Holi with flowers alongside representations of Radha and Krishna. There were also Rasia singing and dancing performances, creating a devotional atmosphere. The widows, dressed in white sarees, applied gulal to each other, participating in the festive joy.
