Junagadh, Gujarat: Bank Manager Commits Suicide, Citing Son's Death in Suicide Note
Gujarat: Kanubhai, a 52-year-old manager of a cooperative and rural agricultural bank in Junagadh, Gujarat, was found dead by hanging in his room. Police arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation. A suicide note was recovered, containing a message addressed to his wife and son.
Suicide Note Reads: "I cannot live without Rudra"
In his suicide note, Kanubhai mentioned his deceased younger son, Rudra. He wrote, "I miss my Rudra dearly and cannot live without him, so I am embracing death. You and your mother should remain peaceful; do not worry."
Unable to Cope with Son's Death
According to police, Kanubhai had served as a bank manager for the past 20 years. After several transfers across different districts, he was currently working in Junagadh and residing in the bank's guest house. He committed suicide in the guest house on Monday.
Son's Suicide a Year and a Half Ago
Family sources revealed that Kanubhai had two sons. His younger son, Rudra, had committed suicide by hanging a year and a half ago. It is reported that Kanubhai had scolded his son for some reason, leading to the son's distress and subsequent actions. Since then, Kanubhai had been deeply grieved and unable to cope with the pain.
