On March 1st, Himani Narwal's body was discovered inside a suitcase near a Rohtak highway, causing widespread shock. DSP Rajnish Kumar of Sampla stated that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed to thoroughly investigate the case. Who is the Accused, Sachin?
The arrested accused is Sachin, a 32-year-old resident of Kherpur village in Bahadurgarh, and father of two. He reportedly had a love marriage with his wife, who belongs to the Bania community. Sachin's family is described as ordinary; his father is a driver, and Sachin himself owns a mobile phone shop. While he had no prior major criminal record, police are thoroughly investigating his background.
Family Alleges Political Rivalry as Motive
Himani's mother spoke to the media, revealing significant information. She stated that Himani's rapid rise within the Congress party had made her the target of envy. She claimed that several altercations occurred at the party office, suggesting a possible conspiracy behind the murder.
The family has also questioned the police investigation and refused to claim the body after the autopsy. They stated they will not perform the last rites until all those responsible are arrested.
Family Demands Justice
Himani Narwal's brother, Jatin, spoke to ANI, voicing the family's demand for justice. He stated, "We want all the culprits arrested immediately and severely punished."
Himani's uncle also demanded an impartial investigation, stating, "Our only demand is that whoever the murderers are, they should not be spared, and we must get justice."
