Infiltration Attempt Foiled
Sources report that around noon, near a forward Indian Army post in the Krishna Ghati sector, three landmines exploded in quick succession in a wooded area under suspicious circumstances. This was immediately followed by intense firing from the Pakistani side.
It is suspected that a group of terrorists from Pakistan was attempting to infiltrate Indian territory. The landmines deployed by the Indian Army foiled this attempt, forcing the terrorists to retreat.
Two Hours of Continuous Firing
To provide cover fire and protect the terrorists, the Pakistani army launched heavy firing on Indian posts. The Indian Army retaliated bly. The intense exchange of fire lasted for approximately two hours. According to local residents, a fire broke out in the wooded area following the firing, with smoke visible from a considerable distance.
Significant Losses for Pakistan
Sources indicate that Pakistan suffered significant losses in this encounter. Approximately 10 Pakistani soldiers were injured during the firing. No casualties were reported on the Indian side. However, the army has yet to release an official statement on the incident.
Previous Infiltration Attempts Foiled
It is noteworthy that a similar infiltration attempt was made from the Pakistani side in this same area two months ago. However, the vigilant Indian Army responded swiftly, eliminating three infiltrators. Once again, the preparedness of the Indian Army successfully thwarted Pakistan's plans.
