Following the Congress party's losses in the Lok Sabha and several state assembly elections, internal questions have begun to arise within the INDIA alliance. Meanwhile, demands for periodic changes in the alliance's leadership have been recurring. Now, another significant statement has emerged on this matter. TMC MP Kirti Azad has expressed confidence that Mamata Banerjee, the chief of the Trinamool Congress, could become the chairperson of the INDIA bloc.

New Delhi: Trinamool Congress MP Kirti Azad made a significant statement, asserting that Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, will become the chairperson of the INDIA bloc. He expressed confidence that Mamata Banerjee will lead the nation and that anyone who contests against her in West Bengal will face defeat. Praising Mamata Banerjee's political acumen and leadership, Kirti Azad said she will play a crucial role in national politics in the coming times.

He also responded to a statement by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat. Responding to Bhagwat's comments on the role of Hindu society, Azad retorted that the RSS and BJP only have slogans. He accused these organizations of misleading people rather than working towards genuine development.

Kirti Azad Levels Serious Allegations Against RSS and BJP

Kirti Azad leveled serious allegations against the RSS and BJP. He claimed that RSS members were aligned with the British from the outset and played a role in the partition. He added that this fact is known to the world. Azad believes that the RSS and BJP attempt to unite people in the name of religion, but when asked what these organizations have actually done for the country, they only offer slogans.

His statement was a direct attack on the policies and propaganda of the BJP and RSS. Kirti Azad also stated that the real aim of these organizations is to mislead people, not to work towards the country's genuine development. Such statements can intensify political debates, especially when accusations are leveled against the Sangh Parivar.

What did Mohan Bhagwat say in his statement?

Mohan Bhagwat's statement was significant in addressing the diversity and unity of Hindu society, clarifying the Sangh's objectives and the nature of India. Bhagwat emphasized the need to unite Hindu society, arguing that Hindu society bears the responsibility for this country. He also stated that India's inherent nature, accepting diversity and based on a spirit of harmony, has existed since ancient times, predating the 1947 independence struggle.

Bhagwat cited the formation of Pakistan as an example, explaining that those who did not understand the Indian ethos created a separate nation, while those who remained embraced Indian culture and its diversity. This statement highlights the importance of Hindu society's unity and acceptance of diversity.

His remarks also made it clear that the Sangh's aim is not just to unite Hindu society but to guide it towards the ancient and inclusive approach that India has embraced for centuries. Under this ideology, the strength and diversity of Hindu society can be united.
