The Rajasthan Congress has undertaken a significant organizational restructuring, increasing the number of districts from 40 to 50. Interestingly, of the 10 new districts added, six—Doodoo, Kekri, and four others—were created during the Gehlot government's tenure.
Jaipur: The Rajasthan Congress has significantly reshaped its organizational structure, expanding the number of districts from 40 to 50. However, a surprising decision emerged from this restructuring. Of the 17 new districts created during the previous Ashok Gehlot government's tenure, six have not been included in the Congress party's organizational framework. These are the same districts recently revoked by the BJP government.
Organizational Rejection of Gehlot Government's Decision
The Gehlot government created 17 new districts in March 2023, but the current BJP government subsequently revoked nine of them. The Congress has now, at the organizational level, also sidelined the six districts rejected by the BJP. This has sparked debate in political circles, with speculation that the Congress has indirectly endorsed the BJP's decision.

Doodoo
Kekri
Gangapur City
Sanchore

Anupgarh
These districts have not been recognized as new districts within the Congress's organizational structure, while three other revoked districts—Neem Ka Thana, Jodhpur Rural, and Jaipur Rural—have been retained.
10 New Districts Included in the Congress Organization

Eight of these districts were created by the Gehlot government, accepted by the BJP government, and are now included in the Congress organizational structure.
