Maya Devi, 60, wife of Murari Meena, a respected villager and retired postmaster, suddenly suffered a heart attack and died. Her funeral was delayed until the arrival of her son, Suresh Meena, a government school teacher in Delhi.
Meanwhile, the deceased's 77-year-old paternal uncle-in-law, Gulab Singh Meena, known as 'Kaka' in the village, was sitting with villagers at his residence. Already deeply saddened by his daughter-in-law's death, he suddenly collapsed. Relatives immediately rushed him to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a heart attack. Due to the severity of his condition, he was referred to Gwalior, but he passed away before reaching the hospital.
