Ayodhya Ram Mandir Anniversary: A Historic Occasion According to religious beliefs, Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Ram. Last year, in 2024, the construction of the magnificent Ram Mandir was completed. The pran-pratishtha of Ramlala took place on the Dwadashi Tithi of Paush Shukla Paksha. This first anniversary is being marked with special events in Ayodhya. The city is adorned for this auspicious occasion, with preparations underway for various programs.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to Perform Abhishek
On the occasion of the Ram Mandir's anniversary, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit Ayodhya today, January 11th. He will perform the abhishek of Lord Ramlala in the sanctum sanctorum at 11:00 am. Following the abhishek, he will inaugurate a cultural program at Angad Tilla and address the devotees.
This event is being organized under the aegis of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust. The abhishek and address by the Chief Minister will be a special occasion for devotees, commemorating the significance of the temple and those who contributed to its construction.
Release of Devotional Songs by Renowned Artists
Renowned singers Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, and Malini Awasthi will release a devotional song on this special occasion. The song will depict the importance of Lord Ram and Ayodhya. Champat Rai, the Secretary General of the Ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra Trust, stated that this song was specifically composed for the first anniversary of Ramlala's pran-pratishtha. It will provide a spiritual experience for devotees.
Elaborate Decorations and Kirtans in the City
Key locations in Ayodhya, including Latta Chowk, Janmabhoomi Path, Shringar Haat, Ram Ki Padi, Sugriv Kila, and Choti Devkali, have been beautifully decorated. Three-Day Rag-Seva Program
A three-day Sri Ram Rag-Seva program will be held in a special pandal near the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Mandir. The renowned artist Yatindra Mishra will coordinate this event. The Sangeet Natak Akademi is collaborating with the organizers. The program will feature various ragas and bhajans for Ram devotees.
