Canada News: Attacks on Hindu temples in Canada continue unabated. Recently, the Lakshmi Narayan Temple in British Columbia was attacked by Khalistani supporters. A video of the attack is circulating on social media, showing two unidentified individuals damaging the temple walls and stealing a security camera. This is the third such attack on a Hindu temple in Canada by Khalistani supporters, causing increased concern and outrage within the Hindu community.

Details of the Attack

The incident occurred around 3:00 AM when Khalistani supporters broke into the Lakshmi Narayan Temple and vandalized it. The video clearly shows the attackers damaging the temple walls and stealing a security camera installed on the temple premises. The video of this incident went viral after being posted on social media by Canadian journalist Daniel Bordman.

Strong Condemnation and Warning from CHCC

The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) bly condemned the attack. The CHCC stated that there is no place for such attacks in Canada. Calling it an example of Hinduphobia, they asserted that "b action is needed against such hateful and violent attacks in Canada." The CHCC appealed to Canadian citizens to stand united against such hatred and violence.

Previous Attacks by Khalistani Supporters

This is not the first instance of Khalistani supporters targeting Hindu temples in Canada. Previously, Khalistani extremists also attacked the Ross Street Gurdwara in Vancouver. Khalistani slogans were painted on the Gurdwara's walls, causing resentment within the Sikh community. The Vancouver police are still investigating this attack.

Rising Hinduphobia in Canada

Concerns are being raised about the increasing cases of Hinduphobia and religious intolerance in Canada. The Indian Embassy and the Canadian government have also expressed their concerns. However, several secular and human rights organizations in Canada are demanding strict action in this matter.
