Trade-War: The trade war between the United States and China has fully escalated. Former US President Donald Trump imposed a cumulative 104% tariff on Chinese goods, initially implementing a 20%, then a 34%, and finally a 50% import tariff. In response, China has levied reciprocal tariffs on American agricultural products and other goods.

China Declares: “We Are Fully Prepared, We Will Fight to the End”

During a meeting with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, Chinese Premier Li Qiang stated unequivocally that China is fully capable of handling any external pressure. He characterized Trump's policy as unilateral and protectionist, adding that China will take b measures to protect international trade rules.

Li Qiang asserted that “Protectionism will yield no benefits. An open economy and cooperation are in the best interests of all countries.” He also indicated that China's policies already incorporate plans to address these tariff challenges.

Imminent Ban on Hollywood Films and Tariffs on US Agricultural Products

According to Bloomberg reports and information circulating on Chinese social media, China is planning retaliatory actions against the US. This may include additional tariffs on American agricultural goods and a ban on Hollywood movies.

China's Ministry of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs have also accused the US of economic bullying and spreading global instability.
