The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the dates for the skill test of the Stenographer Grade C and D recruitment. The official schedule has been released on the SSC website (ssc.gov.in).
Education: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the dates for the skill test of the Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ recruitment examination 2024. According to the official notification, the skill test will be conducted on April 16 and 17, 2025. Candidates who successfully cleared the Computer Based Test (CBT) held on December 10 and 11, 2024, are eligible to appear for this test.
Admit cards for the skill test will be released on the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in) a few days before the examination date. Candidates must bring a valid ID card along with their admit card to the examination center.
Skill Test Pattern and Time Limit
1. Stenographer Grade ‘C’ – 100 words per minute
English: 40 minutes
Hindi: 55 minutes
2. Stenographer Grade ‘D’ – 80 words per minute
English: 50 minutes
Hindi: 65 minutes
Reserved category candidates will be given additional time as per the rules.
Recruitment Process and Vacancies
The SSC completed the application process for this recruitment from July 26 to August 17, 2023. A total of 2006 positions will be filled through this recruitment. After the skill test, the final merit list will be released, and the selected candidates will be offered appointments.
