RRB NTPC Exam 2025: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) may soon release the schedule for the CBT 1 exam for undergraduate and graduate recruitments. Candidates will have to appear for a Computer Based Test (CBT 1) for this exam. Information regarding the exam date, admit card, and city slip will be provided by the RRB upon the release of the notification.
Exam Schedule and Details
The RRB NTPC exam schedule may be released soon. Candidates will be able to download their exam city slip and admit card 10 days prior to the exam. This information will be available on the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board, rrbcdg.gov.in.
Exam Pattern: Understanding the Exact Pattern
The RRB NTPC CBT 1 will consist of a total of 100 multiple-choice questions, with 40 questions from General Awareness, 30 from Mathematics, and 30 from General Intelligence & Reasoning. The allotted time for the exam is 90 minutes.
Keep in Mind the Negative Marking
This exam has a negative marking provision. There will be a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer; therefore, candidates are advised to avoid guessing.
Minimum Cut-off: What will be the Passing Marks?
To pass CBT 1, candidates from the General category must obtain 40%, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and EWS candidates must obtain 40%, SC candidates must obtain 30%, and ST candidates must obtain 25%. Based on the first stage exam, 15 times the number of candidates will be qualified for CBT 2.
Recruitment for 11558 Posts
Through the RRB NTPC recruitment, a total of 11558 posts will be filled. Of these, 3445 are undergraduate posts and 8113 are graduate posts.
