UPSC Topper Shakti Dubey Receives a Warm Welcome in Prayagraj.
Shakti Dubey, the UPSC 2024 topper, arrived in Prayagraj to a heartwarming reception. Her father received her at the railway station, and her mother performed an aarti upon her arrival home. Neighbors and relatives also offered their congratulations. Shakti attributed her success to the grace of Mahadev (Lord Shiva), her hard work, and focused study.
Success on the Fifth Attempt
Shakti achieved this milestone on her fifth attempt. She explained that her success was due to diligent effort, a focus on general knowledge, and attention to global events. A gold medalist from Allahabad University and BHU, Shakti stated that she hadn't expected to become a UPSC topper, but hard work and focused study led to her achievement.
Shakti's Educational Journey
Shakti completed her schooling at SMC Ghurpur and then obtained a B.Sc. from Allahabad University, where she received a gold medal. She subsequently earned an M.Sc. (Biochemistry) from BHU, also with a gold medal.
She then began preparing for the UPSC exam while residing in Prayagraj. After narrowly missing success by just 2 marks last year, she achieved this victory on her fifth attempt this year.
