The tenth fast of Ramadan 2025, observed on Tuesday, March 11th, is more than just another day of fasting; it's a culmination of mercy and blessings. This day marks the end of Ramadan's first Ashra, a period overflowing with Allah's grace.

First Ashra – The Period of Mercy Concludes

Ramadan is divided into three Ashras, and the first is known as the Ashra of Rahmat (Mercy). This phase concludes with the tenth fast, giving way to the Ashra of Maghfirat (Forgiveness). The first ten days are considered days of Allah's mercy, with special attention bestowed upon those observing the fast.

Fasting: A Symbol of Devotion and Equality

Fasting during Ramadan is not merely about abstaining from food and drink; it teaches self-discipline, devotion, and social equality. It's a time when the rich and poor, masters and servants, unite in the worship of Allah. It's a month dedicated to bridging the gap of material disparity and strengthening the feeling of piety.

The Tenth Fast: Full of Mercy and Blessings

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Seek Allah's favor and grace, for He loves the givers." Therefore, during this sacred month of Ramadan, those observing the fast should pray to Allah for mercy and blessings.

The Ashra of Maghfirat Begins

Following the first Ashra, Ramadan's second phase, the Ashra of Maghfirat (Forgiveness), commences. During this period, those fasting seek forgiveness for their sins from Allah. This phase is considered a time for self-purification and spiritual cleansing. The tenth fast of Ramadan is a culmination of mercy and blessings, signifying the end of the first Ashra. Now, those fasting will enter the Ashra of Maghfirat and implore Allah for the forgiveness of their sins.
