Bageshwar Dham Baba: On the fourth day of the Katha, Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri became emotional while reminiscing about his challenging early life. He described how, 18 years ago, he went from house to house begging for alms, surviving for eight years in difficult circumstances through begging.
From Begging to Hanuman's Grace: A Journey
Acharya Shastri revealed that they faced food shortages on Diwali and their house leaked. He had borrowed 20,000 rupees for his sister's wedding, mortgaging an acre of farmland. During this difficult time, Acharya Shastri became emotional, wiping away tears as he described how he still remembers those days. He also mentioned that today, lakhs of people come to listen to his discourses, whereas earlier, he would sit for hours at the Sarpanch's office just to be heard.
Life Transformed by Hanuman's Grace
Acharya Shastri attributed this transformation to the grace and power of Lord Hanuman. He urged the people of Meerut to seek refuge in Hanuman Ji and build successful lives. He cited examples like Sachin Tendulkar, Abraham Lincoln, and Barack Obama, whose simplicity and struggles brought them global recognition.
Social Service and Collective Wedding Organization
Acharya Shastri explained that because of the hardships he faced during his sister's wedding, he organizes mass weddings for underprivileged girls annually at Bageshwar Dham, so that others don't have to endure similar struggles.
Concluding the Katha, Acharya Shastri urged parents to instill good values in their children. He emphasized the importance of educating children to become ideal citizens.
