Toll Rates to Increase on Rewari-Jaisalmer and Rewari-Rohtak Highways from April 1st.

Toll Tax: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has decided to increase toll rates on the Rewari-Jaisalmer and Rewari-Rohtak highways. These increased rates will come into effect from 12:00 AM on April 1st. Under the new rates, tolls for cars, jeeps, and vans will increase by ₹5, and for buses and trucks by ₹15.

Impact of New Toll Rates

Toll charges have been revised at Gangaycha Jat toll plaza and Kathuwas toll plaza. The one-way toll, previously ₹145, has increased to ₹150. For buses and trucks, the one-way toll has risen from ₹310 to ₹325.

Increase in Two-Way Tolls

Similar to the increase in one-way tolls, two-way tolls have also been increased. For example, the two-way toll for cars, jeeps, and vans has increased from ₹470 to ₹485. For larger vehicles, the toll has increased from ₹915 to ₹945.

Monthly Passes and Upcoming Charges

The rates for monthly passes have also been increased for the year 2025-2026. The monthly pass for cars/jeeps/vans is ₹3380, for mini-buses and LCV/LGV it is ₹5260, and for trucks/buses it is ₹10780.

CID Report and Administration Confirmation

Bharat Yadav, manager of the Gangaycha toll plaza, stated that the NHAI has already issued a notification regarding this increase. The new toll rates will come into effect from April 1st.

New Rates Effective After Notification

According to the notification issued by the NHAI, the new rates for all transportation charges will be implemented from April 1st. This change will be significant for Delhi-NCR commuters, as it will lead to an increase in travel costs.
