Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued a b statement regarding speculation about his becoming Prime Minister. Recently, when questioned about the possibility of becoming Prime Minister in an interview, he clearly stated, "I am a Yogi. Politics is not a full-time job for me."

Lucknow: Political circles frequently claim that Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, could become the country's Prime Minister in the future. Recently, the Chief Minister made a significant statement on this issue. In an interview with news agency PTI, Yogi Adityanath stated that he is essentially a Yogi and politics is not a full-time job for him. He clarified that he is currently the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the party has appointed him to serve the people of the state.

"Politics is a Means of Spiritual Practice for Me"

In an interview with the news agency PTI, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said, "See, I am the Chief Minister of the state. The party has placed me here for the people of Uttar Pradesh. Politics is not a full-time job for me. Currently, we are working here, but in reality, I am a Yogi. As long as we are here, we are working. This too will have a time limit." This statement clearly indicates that Yogi Adityanath views politics as a responsibility and a spiritual practice, not as a lust for power.

Strict Stance on Prayers on Roads

The Chief Minister also expressed his b opinion on the issue of offering prayers on roads. He stated that roads are for walking, not for religious rituals. Citing the example of the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela, Yogi said, "66 crore devotees came, but there was no disorder anywhere. No looting, no vandalism. Festivals or religious events should be a symbol of discipline, not disorder."

Candid Response on the "Bulldozer Model"

Regarding the action of using bulldozers against illegal encroachments in Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi said that this is not a personal achievement of his. He clarified, "Whatever steps were necessary according to the needs of Uttar Pradesh were taken. If there is illegal encroachment somewhere, then using a bulldozer to remove it is natural. We have taught how to use it systematically and appropriately."

Chief Minister Yogi emphasized discipline as the most important factor in maintaining peace and order in the state. He said that whether it is a religious event or a social one, all should be conducted with discipline.
