AICC Announces New District Congress Presidents in Bihar. General Secretary K.C. Venugopal approved the appointments. Saad Ahmad will lead the Araria Congress Committee, and Dayanand Paswan will head the Darbhanga Congress Committee.

Bihar Politics: With Bihar Assembly elections scheduled for this year, the Congress party has undertaken a major organizational reshuffle. The All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed new district presidents and working presidents in 40 districts of the state. This decision aims to strengthen the party organization and prepare it for the upcoming elections.

New Presidents Announced for 40 Districts

Late Tuesday night, party general secretary K.C. Venugopal issued orders in this regard. This significant organizational change was made under the leadership of Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru and the recently appointed state president Rajesh Kumar. The Congress has also given opportunities to several Muslim and backward caste leaders this time.

Three New Presidents Appointed in Patna

New presidents and working presidents have been announced for Patna Town, Patna Rural-1, and Patna Rural-2. Shashi Ranjan, a young and experienced party leader, has been appointed president of Patna Town, while Ranjit Kumar has been appointed working president.

Sumit Kumar Sunny has been given the responsibility of president for Patna Rural-1, while Uday Kumar Chandravanshi has been appointed working president. Gurjeet Singh will be the president of Patna Rural-2, and Nitu Nishad has been appointed working president.
