Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Inspects PM Modi's Upcoming Rally Venue
UP News: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited the site of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming public rally in Mehdiganj village, alongside the Ring Road, on Thursday afternoon. The rally is scheduled for April 11th. Upon his arrival by helicopter, he was greeted by a large crowd of villagers, who were subsequently redirected by security personnel to the Ring Road.
The Chief Minister inspected the proposed rally site, including the German hangar pandal, the stage, parking facilities, and entry points. He held a meeting with officials and BJP leaders, directing them to complete all preparations on time. After a brief ten-minute inspection, the Chief Minister departed by helicopter for the Police Lines.
Stringent Security Measures in Place
Mandala Commissioner Kaushalraj Sharma, DM S. Rajalingam, Police Commissioner Mohit Agarwal, along with several senior BJP leaders and MLAs, were present during the Chief Minister's visit. A b security presence was deployed throughout the area to prevent any untoward incidents.
Dust and Straw Stirred by Helicopter Landing
The Chief Minister's helicopter landing caused a significant dust cloud and stirred up straw from harvested wheat fields in the surrounding area. Security personnel and BJP workers were seen covering their mouths and noses to avoid inhaling the dust. Upon CM Yogi's departure, BJP workers chanted 'Har Har Mahadev'.
International Stadium Under Construction Near Rally Site
Construction of an international cricket stadium is progressing rapidly in Ganjari village, near the rally site, along the Ring Road. Approximately three kilometers away, in Khajuri, is the residence and office of Sewapuri MLA, Neelratan Patel, who has been unwell for some time. The model village, Nagapur, is located near Mehdiganj and has been adopted under the Member of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme.
Tents and Helipads Being Prepared for the Rally
Extensive preparations are underway to make the Prime Minister's rally a grand event. Tents are being delivered by trucks for the construction of the German hangar pandal. Three helipads are being prepared for the Prime Minister's helicopter, with land already demarcated. Marigold flowers are being removed from the helipad construction area to ensure unobstructed landings.
