Delhi Police File FIR Against Arvind Kejriwal for Alleged Misuse of Public Funds

Arvind Kejriwal, former Chief Minister of Delhi and National Convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is facing mounting difficulties. Following a significant electoral defeat, a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against Kejriwal and others by the Delhi Police.

Arvind Kejriwal: The troubles for Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader, seem to be increasing. Delhi Police have registered an FIR against Kejriwal for alleged violation of the Public Property Act. The case pertains to 2019, involving the installation of large hoardings in Delhi's Dwarka area. The allegation is that public funds were misused for these hoardings.

Delhi Police filed the FIR and submitted a compliance report to the Rouse Avenue Court. The report states that a case has been registered against Kejriwal and others for alleged misuse of public funds. The court has scheduled the next hearing for April 18th.

In 2019, large hoardings were put up by the Aam Aadmi Party in Dwarka. It is alleged that government funds were used for these hoardings, violating the Public Property Act. A complaint had already been filed with the police regarding this matter. Meanwhile, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher indirectly attacked AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal.

After being released from Muktsar Sahib jail on Friday, he stated that the Punjab government, in conjunction with the central government, had reached an agreement to remove farmers from the Shambhu and Khanauri borders. Pandher claimed that Delhi's 'Ahmad Shah Abdali' and Punjab's 'Zakaria Khan' are colluding to carry out repressive actions against farmers.
