Wife Leaves Home, Takes Children
Amit stated that his wife left home, taking their younger son with her. She is reportedly living with Rahul Batham. He alleges that these events are not consensual, but rather the result of coercion and intimidation within his family. He claims to have filed multiple complaints with the police, but no action has been taken.
No Help from Police, Appeal to Chief Minister
Following a lack of response from the police, Amit staged a protest at Gwalior's Phoolbagh Chowraha, sitting below a poster of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, pleading for protection. He warned that if the police don't act swiftly, his murder could become another incident like the Meerut drum incident.
Police Statement
The Janakganj police station in-charge stated that Amit has not filed any formal complaint at the station. Police claim that action will be taken if he files a complaint. However, Amit maintains that he has repeatedly sought police assistance without success.
