Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla Calls for Action Plan to Develop Aspirational Districts

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla received a warm welcome from BJP officials and leaders during a colorful event upon his arrival in Sirohi. Addressing the gathering, he expressed deep concern about societal issues and urged decisive action towards their resolution.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla arrived in Sirohi from Udaipur on Wednesday and delivered a speech at a civic felicitation ceremony held in Swarupganj. He highlighted Sirohi as a tribal-dominated district, emphasizing that alleviating societal suffering is everyone's responsibility.

Om Birla stated, "I have been visiting this region for many years, and during the Vaju-mo period, I spent considerable time in Jalore and Sirohi. During this time, I faced many difficult situations and challenges, but the workers stood firmly against these problems."

He commended the government's welfare schemes and expressed satisfaction with the representatives' concern for development. Praising Prime Minister Modi's vision, Birla said, "Prime Minister Modi's vision is extensive for the country, and we must bring the lagging districts up to speed in our development race."

He further added, "People have high expectations from the state and central governments. We should strive to bring positive change to the lives of those at the margins of society."

The Need for an Action Plan for the Development of Aspirational Districts

Speaking at an event in Sirohi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated that Sirohi is an aspirational district and overcoming the hardships and deprivation faced by its people is a collective responsibility. He further mentioned that India is the world's largest democracy and the people's faith in the Constitution is the true strength of this democracy.

Om Birla added, "The greatest feature of our democracy is that even an ordinary worker can become an MLA or an MP." He stressed the need for formulating an action plan for the development of aspirational districts, stating that a b action plan is required to achieve this goal.

The Lok Sabha Speaker also mentioned that he had requested Jalore-Sirohi MP, Lumbaram Chaudhary, to meet him in Parliament after the formulation of the action plan. He concluded by saying, "Our dream is a developed India, and we must work together to achieve it."

Lok Sabha Speaker Addresses Civic Felicitation Ceremony

Addressing a civic felicitation ceremony in Sirohi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla stated that the work towards realizing the dream of a developed India continues and India's global power has significantly increased. He lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's effective leadership, stating that the world now looks to India with hope and confidence.

Om Birla further stated, "The dream of a developed India will be realized only when we include remote villages in the mainstream of development. This requires our collective efforts."

The event was attended by Minister of State Otaram Dewasi, Jalore-Sirohi MP Lumbaram Chaudhary, District President Arjun Purohit, MLA Samaram Garasia, District President Dr. Raksha Bhandari, and many other BJP officials and workers.
