Marriage and Honeymoon After the Murder
After the murder, Muskaan and Sahil seemed to have decided to start a new life. They had already booked a hotel online and purchased clothes for their wedding. After their marriage in Shimla, they went to Manali, where they partied and enjoyed themselves. However, their happiness was short-lived.
Body Hidden in a Drum
Upon returning from Manali, they planned to dispose of Saurabh's dismembered body. They encased the body parts in cement inside a drum. However, they were unable to move it. They then hired four laborers, but they too couldn't lift the heavy drum. When they failed to even move it to an e-rickshaw, the laborers left. The police discovered this drum, which yielded crucial clues to the crime.
Innocent Pihu Left Orphaned
The biggest victim of this tragic murder is five-year-old Pihu, whose birthday was on February 28th. On that day, she celebrated with her parents, unaware that it would be her last birthday with them. Her father, Saurabh, was murdered, and her mother, Muskaan, is now in jail. A conflict has arisen within the family regarding Pihu's custody—between Saurabh's mother, Renu, and Muskaan's mother, Kavita Rastogi.
Police Reveal Sensational Details
Meerut's SP City, Ayush Vikram Singh, stated that Muskaan, along with her lover Sahil, plotted the murder of Saurabh, a former Merchant Navy employee. They murdered Saurabh, dismembered his body, and concealed it in a cement-filled drum. The police have solved this sensational murder case, arrested both individuals, and presented them in court on Wednesday, subsequently sending them to jail.
