Modi Inaugurates ₹33,700 Crore Development Projects in Chhattisgarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated development projects worth over ₹33,700 crore in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, on Sunday. He addressed a large public gathering and congratulated three lakh impoverished families in Chhattisgarh on receiving new homes.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, on March 30th. He inaugurated development projects totaling ₹33,700 crore. During this event, PM Modi addressed the people of Bilaspur and congratulated the people of Chhattisgarh on the development initiatives. He stated that the central government is working rapidly to ensure that the benefits of development reach every citizen.

Developmental Initiatives on the First Day of Navratri

PM Modi stated that visiting Chhattisgarh on the first day of Navratri was auspicious for him. He said, "Chhattisgarh is the land of Mata Mahamaya and Mata Kaushalya. This auspicious occasion of Navratri holds special significance for Chhattisgarh." While inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for projects worth thousands of crores, the Prime Minister said that these schemes will prove to be milestones in the state's development.

In his address, Prime Minister Modi mentioned that three lakh impoverished families in Chhattisgarh have received new homes. He said, "Meeting the impoverished families, I felt the joy of receiving a home clearly reflected on their faces." The Prime Minister stated that the central government is committed to providing every poor person with a pucca house (permanent dwelling).

Flags off MEMU Train Service

During his Bilaspur visit, PM Modi flagged off the MEMU train service from Mandir Hasaud to the Abhanpur-Raipur section. This will improve transportation facilities in Raipur and surrounding areas. The Prime Minister said that Chhattisgarh is celebrating its Silver Jubilee year and it is also the birth centenary year of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He stated that the state of Chhattisgarh was formed under the leadership of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and now the responsibility of developing it also rests with our government.

A New Resolution for Chhattisgarh's Development

Reiterating his commitment to Chhattisgarh's development, Prime Minister Modi stated that his government is continuously working to bring the light of development to every corner of the state. He urged the public to become a part of this developmental journey and contribute to taking Chhattisgarh to new heights.

Highlighting the central government's role in Chhattisgarh's development, PM Modi said that his government is constantly working to ensure that the benefits of development reach every citizen. He stated that this is a new chapter of development and our goal is to propel the state towards progress by providing better facilities to the people of Chhattisgarh.
