Following the attack, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah reacted on Twitter (X), stating, "I am shocked by this cowardly attack. This is a heinous act, and its perpetrators will never be spared." He expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and announced his return to Srinagar. Furthermore, he spoke with Shakina Ittoo, who is overseeing the treatment of the injured at the hospital.
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha's Statement
Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha also bly condemned the attack. He stated, "This was a heinous and cowardly attack. We will never leave those behind this attack." He spoke with the DGP and security officials, receiving updates on the security forces' preparedness. Security teams have cordoned off the area and intensified the search operation.

PDP president Mehbooba Mufti also bly condemned the attack. She stated, "This attack is completely unacceptable. Kashmir has always warmly welcomed tourists, and this incident is deeply concerning."
