Raipur: A devastating accident occurred in Silatara, a locality in the Dharshiva police station area of Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. A vehicle belonging to the Sahu family of Dhamtari, returning from Amarakantak, encountered mechanical problems and stopped on the roadside. Unfortunately, a speeding truck hit the stranded vehicle, resulting in the death of two individuals and injuries to thirteen others. Several of the injured are reported in critical condition.

The Sahu family had travelled to Amarakantak to celebrate the New Year. As they were returning late at night, their vehicle broke down near Silatara. They were forced to stop on the side of the road. While the family waited for repairs, they were all gathered together on the roadside. Suddenly, a speeding truck collided with them.
Two Fatalities in the Accident
Two individuals perished at the scene of the accident, while thirteen others sustained injuries. Three of the injured are in critical condition and have been admitted to the ICU.
