Owaisi Targets BJP
Asaduddin Owaisi, posting on X (formerly Twitter), questioned the Yogi government's response, contrasting it with a hypothetical scenario involving Muslim perpetrators. He wrote, "If these were M(uslims), there would have been lathi charge, firing, arrests, sedition cases, bulldozers, and they would have been defamed as agents of a Muslim king on prime-time news channels. But now, no action is being taken."
Ramji Lal Suman's Statement
During a Rajya Sabha address, Ramji Lal Suman referred to Rana Sanga as a traitor. He stated, "BJP members say that Muslims have Babur's DNA, then whose DNA do Hindus have? Babur was brought to India by Rana Sanga to defeat Ibrahim Lodi. If Muslims are Babur's descendants, why aren't Hindus the descendants of the traitor Rana Sanga?"
This statement drew b opposition from the BJP and Hindu organizations. The Karni Sena, viewing the statement as an insult to Hindu history, subsequently attacked Suman's home.
Questions Raised Over Police Inaction During the Attack
Despite the police presence at the scene, they failed to prevent the Karni Sena activists. Pictures and videos show police officers remaining passive observers. The Samajwadi Party and other opposition parties questioned the Yogi government, asking: If a Member of Parliament's home can be attacked with police inaction, what will happen to the safety of ordinary citizens?
