The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is reportedly formulating a comprehensive strategy for the upcoming Bihar and West Bengal assembly elections. To this end, the organization's All India Representative Meeting will be held in Bengaluru from March 21st to 23rd.

Bengaluru: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is undertaking the development of a comprehensive plan focusing on the upcoming Bihar and West Bengal assembly elections. Their All India Representative Meeting, scheduled for March 21st to 23rd in Bengaluru, will be crucial in determining the organization's future activities and political strategies. Over 1500 high-ranking officials from across the country are expected to attend.

Special Discussion on Bihar and West Bengal Elections

This meeting holds significant importance for the RSS as it coincides with the organization's centenary celebrations from 2025 to 2026. The meeting will finalize the action plan for the coming years. Extensive discussions will focus on the large-scale events planned for the period between Vijayadashami 2025 and Vijayadashami 2026.

Sources indicate that the meeting will feature detailed discussions on the impending assembly elections in Bihar and West Bengal. Anticipating elections in Bihar in 2025 and West Bengal in 2026, the RSS will strategize accordingly. Guidelines related to the elections will be provided to various affiliated organizations. The recent visit of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to Bihar is also being viewed as part of this strategy.

Participation of RSS Affiliate Organizations

In addition to the heads of 45 regional branches, representatives from 32 affiliated organizations will participate. These include prominent groups such as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (BKS), Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), and Rashtra Sevika Samiti.

The meeting will be chaired by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Other senior leaders attending include Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale, along with other Sarkaryawahs Krishna Gopal, K.C. Mukunda, Arun Kumar, Ramdatt Chakradhar, Alok Kumar, and Atul Limye. If the BJP announces its new national president by March 20th, they are also expected to attend.

Increased RSS Activity in West Bengal and the Northeast

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's recent visits to West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, and Bihar are interpreted as reflecting the organization's growing influence and election strategies in eastern India. The RSS might accelerate its activities in West Bengal ahead of the potential assembly elections in 2026. The RSS's All India Representative Meeting, held annually in March, reviews the organization's annual activities and plans. While typically held in Nagpur every three years, this year's meeting is taking place in Bengaluru.
