Uttarakhand Cracks Down on Illegal Madrasas, Seals Over 52 in 15 Days. The government has sent a b message to deter population imbalance conspiracies, asserting that the state's fundamental character will not be compromised.

Uttarakhand: The Uttarakhand government is intensifying its crackdown on illegally operating madrasas. Following Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami's directives, over 52 madrasas have been sealed in the past 15 days. This stringent action is aimed at curbing suspicious activities operating under the guise of religion.

Why the Crackdown on Illegal Madrasas?

For a considerable time, complaints have been received regarding the illegal operation of madrasas in various parts of the state. Several madrasas in Dehradun's Vikasnagar and Udham Singh Nagar's Khatima faced allegations of suspicious activities. Recently, the administration sealed 12 madrasas in Vikasnagar and 9 in Khatima. Prior to this, action had already been taken against 31 madrasas in other districts.

Population Imbalance Conspiracy Under the Guise of Religion?

Sources indicate that several illegal madrasas not only provided unauthorized education but also engaged in activities aimed at creating a population imbalance. The government has made it clear that any tampering with the state's fundamental character will not be tolerated.

Chief Minister Dhami's Strong Message

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami clarified that no illegal activity will be tolerated in Uttarakhand in order to establish the rule of law. Strict action will be taken against anyone operating madrasas illegally or violating the law.

Action to Curb Illegal Activities

This action clearly demonstrates the state government's continuous efforts to curb illegal activities and strengthen law and order. Further action against illegal madrasas and other unlawful institutions can be expected in the future.

Land Registration Fraud

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed to curb land registration fraud and stamp theft in Uttarakhand. The SIT has received 378 complaints so far, with FIRs registered and investigations underway in 72 cases.

How is Land Fraud Taking Place?

In many cases, land registration is carried out using forged documents, causing harm to the rightful owners. Furthermore, stamp theft causes losses of crores of rupees to the government.

Finance Secretary Issues Strict Instructions

Considering the seriousness of these cases, Finance Secretary Dilip Jawalkar has directed the speeding up of investigations. He instructed officials to complete the review of all pending cases as soon as possible and take strict action against the culprits.

Displeasure over Delays in Forensic Examination

The investigation report reveals significant delays in the forensic examination of documents at the Forensic Lab. This has stalled action in several cases. Expressing displeasure, the Inspector General of Registration has been instructed to expedite the preparation of forensic reports.

Report to be Presented to CM in Digital Format

The government is now compiling the frauds and other anomalies unearthed by the SIT in digital format for presentation to Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. This will enhance transparency and enable more effective control over illegal activities in the state.
