PM MODI US VISIT: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has concluded his two-day visit to the United States and departed for Delhi. According to recent reports, PM Modi has left Washington D.C. for Delhi. During this visit, he met with US President Donald Trump and discussed various issues.

Ministry of External Affairs calls PM Modi's visit 'fruitful'

The Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement regarding Prime Minister Modi's US trip. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated that the visit, at the invitation of President Donald Trump, was highly successful and fruitful. He noted that this was PM Modi's first US visit during Trump's second term, highlighting the depth of the India-US relationship. During the visit, PM Modi also met with Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and American industrialist Vivek Ramaswamy.

Four-hour-long crucial meeting at the White House

PM Modi and President Trump held discussions at the White House for approximately four hours. The discussions covered several important topics, including strategic and security cooperation, defense, trade and economic relations, technology, energy security, and people-to-people ties between the two countries. Global and regional issues were also discussed.

Concerns raised over the situation in Bangladesh

The meeting also addressed the current situation in Bangladesh. PM Modi expressed his concerns about the situation and clarified India's role. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri expressed hope for a swift return to stability in Bangladesh and the continuation of positive cooperation between the two countries.

Issue of illegal immigrants also raised

A serious discussion took place between Prime Minister Modi and President Trump regarding illegal immigrants. The Foreign Secretary stated that India agreed on the repatriation of illegal immigrants. PM Modi emphasized the shared responsibility of both countries to take effective steps to address this problem.

India-US relations to receive new direction

This visit will further strengthen the relationship between India and the United States. Both countries agreed to increase cooperation in defense and trade. Furthermore, discussions on crucial issues such as technology and energy security will further bolster bilateral ties.
