The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) has announced that Rohit Sharma, captain of the Indian cricket team and star player for Mumbai Indians, has been appointed as the brand ambassador for the third season of the T20 Mumbai League 2025. The third season of the T20 Mumbai League will commence on May 26th.

Sports News: The third edition of the T20 Mumbai League will launch in 2025, a day after the conclusion of the Gazette 2025. Rohit Sharma, the Test and ODI captain of the Indian cricket team, has been officially announced as the face of this league. The competition was previously held in 2018 and 2019 before the COVID-19 pandemic, and is now returning with an IPL-style format featuring eight teams.

This year's tournament will feature eight teams, two of which will have new owners. One team, named "SoBo Mumbai Falcons," will be joining the league.

One of these new operators is SoBo Mumbai Falcons, acquired by Roadways Solutions India Infra Limited for ₹82 crore. Royal Age Sports and Entertainment acquired the operational rights for a team representing Mumbai's South Central region for ₹57 crore. The addition of these new teams will add to the excitement and attractiveness of the league in Mumbai.

MCA President Ajinkya Naik said on the occasion, "We are proud to have Rohit Sharma as the brand ambassador. He is a Mumbai cricket icon, and we expect the league to reach new heights under his leadership.
