A total of 153 students in Patna-Barouni donated books to their junior students as part of an initiative aimed at supporting those in need and promoting responsibility within the student community.

The initiative was launched by senior students of a school/college, who collected their used books and distributed them to junior students. A small programme was organised during the distribution, where students participated and emphasised the importance of education.

Teachers and management present at the event commended the effort, stating that such initiatives play an important role in the overall development of students. They noted that it helps foster a sense of cooperation and awareness of social responsibility among students.

Several junior students said they had faced financial difficulties in purchasing new books, but the initiative has helped address this issue to a large extent. Receiving the books will support them in continuing their studies and preparing for examinations.

The initiative also ensured better utilisation of books and conservation of resources. Books that are often left unused after a class is completed were redistributed for further use through this effort.

During the programme, students also resolved to continue such initiatives in the future and assist students in need. Teachers assured full institutional support for such efforts.

Local residents also appreciated the initiative and described it as a positive example for society. They said similar efforts across schools and colleges could help many students access education.
