The allegations made by Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav regarding an ongoing case have intensified political exchanges in Uttar Pradesh. During a press conference, he claimed that a member of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) already has a case registered under Section 420 and alleged that accused Anukalp and Avinash had invested the allegedly stolen money in the share market after admitting this during police questioning.

Akhilesh Yadav said questions are being raised about the impartiality of the investigating agencies and called for a transparent investigation into the entire matter. He alleged that if any member of the investigation team already has a criminal case registered against them, that should also be subjected to an independent inquiry.

During the press conference, the Samajwadi Party chief alleged that the accused in the case had allegedly invested money obtained through theft in the share market. However, he did not publicly present any documents or detailed evidence in support of these claims.

No official response has yet been issued by the police or the investigating agencies in connection with the allegations. If any statement was recorded during police questioning, its confirmation will depend on the investigation records and the judicial process.

Legal experts state that there is a distinction between alleged statements made during police interrogation and evidence admissible in court. The final determination of any accused person's legal liability can be made only on the basis of evidence presented before the court and judicial proceedings.

Political analysts believe such allegations and counter-allegations could intensify political debate in sensitive cases. However, the authenticity of the claims can be established only after the investigating agencies submit their findings and the judicial process is completed.

The matter remains under investigation. Independent official confirmation of Akhilesh Yadav's allegations, the status of the alleged case against the SIT member, and the claim that the allegedly stolen money was invested in the share market is still awaited. The actual position of the case will become clear only after the completion of the police investigation, the inquiries by the concerned agencies, and the judicial process.
