Ambulance Skids on Palm Oil, Collides with Truck on Jaipur-Ajmer Highway; 2 Dead, 3 Injured

An ambulance collided with a truck on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway after palm oil spilled on the road. The accident resulted in the death of two people and serious injuries to three others. Police transported the injured to the hospital and restored smooth traffic flow.

Jaipur: A horrific road accident occurred late Monday night on the Jaipur-Ajmer Highway in Rajasthan, where an ambulance skidded on palm oil and collided with a truck. Two people died in the accident, and three were seriously injured. The accident took place near Chhitroli Stand, where the spilled palm oil on the road caused the vehicle driver to lose control. The injured are currently receiving treatment at SMS Hospital.

Ambulance Accident Caused by Gravel Dumper Collision

SI Shersingh Meena of Bagru Police Station stated that the accident began when a gravel dumper, approaching from behind, collided with a palm oil tanker parked on the roadside. The collision caused the oil from the tanker to spill onto the road. Within minutes, an ambulance traveling at high speed from Kishangarh towards Jaipur skidded on this oil.

The driver, Satish Dhamani, lost control, and the ambulance crashed into a truck parked ahead. The scene of the accident was so horrific that two of the passengers in the ambulance died on the spot, and three were seriously injured.

Identification of Deceased and Injured

Police identified the deceased as Dinesh Kumari (55) and Vicky alias Veeram Singh (31). The injured include driver Satish Dhamani (31), Amit Vaishnav (30), and Bithudas (60). All injured were immediately admitted to SMS Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

It was reported that the deceased and injured family members were taking patient Bithudas to the hospital. Along with Bithudas, his wife Dinesh Kumari, son Amit Vaishnav, and Amit's friend Vicky were traveling in the ambulance.

Police and Administration Action

Upon receiving information about the accident, a police team arrived at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital. Police removed the ambulance and truck to restore smooth traffic flow. Additionally, officials issued instructions to clear the spilled palm oil from the road.

SI Shersingh Meena stated that the spilled oil on the road and the high speed of the vehicle were the main causes of the accident. He appealed to drivers to exercise caution and to seek immediate assistance if they lose control of their vehicle.
