Entertainment News: Hollywood's famous actress Angelina Jolie is among those actresses who have made headlines for both her professional work and her personal life. The love story, marriage, and divorce of Angelina and Hollywood actor Brad Pitt also captured the attention of media and fans for a long time. They were seen as the most loved couple, but in December 2024, they officially separated.
Angelina was so deeply in love with her ex-husband Brad Pitt that enduring this divorce proved extremely difficult for her. She has now described this divorce as the most painful incident of her life.
The Trauma of Brad Pitt's Memories
Angelina revealed that many memories and incidents related to Brad Pitt were mentally affecting her. According to Hollywood reports, Angelina submitted a statement to the California Court. In it, she stated, "The reasons and events that led to my former husband Brad Pitt and I separating were incredibly difficult for us and our children."
She further explained that at the time of the divorce, she had given control of their family homes in Los Angeles and Miraval to Brad Pitt without any compensation, in order to reduce conflict and ensure a smoother process.
Property and Emotional Connection
Angelina also informed the court that the dispute over the property deeply affected her mentally. The Miraval property was emotionally very significant for both her and Brad. She said:
'This home was our first shared property. It's where we got married, where I spent some time during my pregnancy, and where I brought our twin children. Suddenly being separated from this home and these memories, and it was difficult for the children.'
Angelina states that the emotional aspect tied to this property made the divorce even more painful. Angelina and Brad began dating in 2005, followed by their marriage in 2014. They have six children, three of whom Angelina had adopted. In 2016, Angelina filed for divorce in court, but the legal battle dragged on.
Although the court declared them legally single in 2019, they officially separated in 2024. Their story continued to make headlines not just in Hollywood, but worldwide.
