Expenditure of ₹24,000 Crore on PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flagship scheme, PM Dhan Dhanya Krishi Yojana, will entail an expenditure of ₹24,000 crore. The primary objective of this scheme is to increase agricultural productivity, encourage crop diversification, and adopt sustainable farming practices. Under the scheme, post-harvest storage facilities will be strengthened at the Panchayat and Block levels. Additionally, the availability of long-term and short-term loans will be ensured in 100 selected districts.

Special emphasis will be placed on reducing losses, including procurement, storage, and processing. Under this mission, PM Modi will also interact with farmers to understand their problems and suggestions.
Projects for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and Food Processing
The Prime Minister will inaugurate projects worth over ₹5,450 crore. Interaction with Farmers
During the event, PM Modi will distribute certificates to farmers certified under the National Natural Farming Mission, MAITRI technicians, and farmers who have benefited through Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samridhi Kendras. Additionally, PM Modi will interact with farmers involved in pulse cultivation. The objective of this dialogue is to convey a value chain-based approach in agriculture, animal husbandry, and fisheries to the farmers.
Another objective of the Prime Minister's interaction is to apprise farmers of the benefits of government schemes and to share their experiences. Through this, the plan is to connect farmers with modern methods of farming, storage, and processing.
Strengthening Rural Infrastructure
The Prime Minister also stated at the event that strengthening infrastructure in rural areas is among the government's priorities. These schemes are effective steps to improve the economic condition of farmers. Emphasis has been placed on empowering the rural economy through improved irrigation facilities, crop storage, and financial assistance.
Towards Farmers' Welfare and Self-Reliance
PM Modi stated that these schemes are not merely financial investments, but rather concrete steps towards farmers' self-reliance and sustainable development in the agricultural sector. Various technical and economic measures have been included to enhance farmers' productivity and income.
Farmers' participation has also been given special importance in this program of the Prime Minister. Their interaction and the distribution of certificates are seen as a gesture of respect for the farmers' hard work and contribution.
