Anup Jalota said, "I told Jasleen that if we go, we will go as guru and disciple." She also agreed to this. But when Jasleen said on stage that we have been in a relationship for three years, I myself was surprised.
Anup Jalota further added, "When Salman Khan asked Jasleen if she was my disciple, she said that she has been in a relationship with me for the last three years. At that moment, I was completely stunned. I understood then and there that maybe some game plan has been hatched. Either the show makers must have said this, or someone must have told Jasleen to say this so that drama is created on the show."
Anup Jalota clarified that when he was going into the 'Bigg Boss' house with Jasleen, he had even asked Jasleen about it. But he never gave much importance to this issue and moved on considering it as a part of the game.

He further said that he came on this show at the behest of Jasleen's father and he considered it just a reality show, nothing more than that. According to Anup Jalota, a lot is done for drama in the 'Bigg Boss' house and this was also a part of it.
Anup Jalota praised Jasleen and said that she is a very talented singer. She used to come to him to learn singing. He said, "Jasleen is a good singer, she has talent. People should not judge her only on the basis of this show."
