Azamgarh. A vehicle driver died under suspicious circumstances on Wednesday evening in Basti Bhujwal village, falling under Aharauala police station area. The deceased was irrigating his field when he suddenly fainted and collapsed. Family members took him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Rakesh Nishad, who supported his family by driving a four-wheeler for hire. It was reported that he had gone to water his wheat field, but when it got late, his family members went looking for him and found him unconscious.
With the help of villagers, Rakesh was taken to the Community Health Center, where doctors declared him dead after examination. Following the incident, the family was plunged into grief. Rakesh leaves behind his wife Priyanka, a son, and a daughter.
Considering the matter suspicious, Aharauala police have sent the body for post-mortem. Officials state that the actual cause of death will only be clear after the report is received.
