Baba Ramdev Opposes Involving Children in Protests Supports Peaceful Constitutional Movements by Youth

Baba Ramdev said children should not be involved in protests and supported the right of adult youth to protest peacefully and constitutionally. He also highlighted the need to address issues related to education, healthcare, employment and recruitment.

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has said that children should not be involved in any kind of protest or movement. He supported the right of adult youth to raise their voices for their rights through peaceful, democratic and constitutional means, while stressing the need to address issues related to education, healthcare, employment and recruitment.

Baba Ramdev said young children should not be made part of any protest. He said that instead of involving primary school children in movements, attention should be focused on their education and future.

He questioned whether children’s studies would be affected if they participated in movements and protests. Ramdev also appealed to parents to avoid putting children at the forefront of political or social movements.

He said that once young people become adults, they have the right to express their views within the democratic system with an understanding of their rights and responsibilities.

Baba Ramdev supported the right of young people to protest but stressed the need to maintain peace and respect for the Constitution. He said protests should be conducted through democratic and constitutional means.

He described violence and disorder during protests as wrong. According to him, public anger over an issue can take the form of a movement, but it should remain peaceful.

Ramdev also said that people have the right to protest in the country through democratic and constitutional means. He supported movements that present their demands on the basis of ethical and human values.

Ramdev referred to several issues related to the country’s education and healthcare systems. He said these sectors need improvement and that addressing the issues requires a role not only from the government but also from society and the administration.

He said problems related to teachers, electricity, water and other basic facilities in the education system need to be addressed. He also expressed concern over questions raised about transparency in government recruitment and the selection process.

He said awareness at the social, political and administrative levels is necessary to improve the future of the country’s children and youth. He called for collective efforts on issues including employment, education, healthcare and the environment.

On the occasion of Independence Day, Baba Ramdev had warned the government about protests involving students and youth. Expressing concern over alleged irregularities in education and recruitment examinations, he had said that protests could intensify if the problems were not resolved.

At the time, he had also appealed to young people to stay away from violence and activities that could affect law and order. He had called for protests to remain within the framework of the Constitution.

In his latest statement, he has placed particular emphasis on keeping children separate from protests. He said the democratic rights of youth can be supported, but involving children in such demonstrations is not appropriate.
