Previously Worked at Meta and TikTok
This tech professional, Amar Saurabh, had previously worked at major tech companies like Meta and TikTok. After leaving his job, he began searching for new employment in April, but in the initial months, he only received two to three interview calls. It was then that he decided to change his strategy and seek help from ChatGPT.
Started by Creating a Custom GPT
Saurabh explained that initially, ChatGPT's responses were generic, so he created a customized version of it. In this custom GPT, he uploaded information such as his resume, LinkedIn profile, and project notes, and specified that he was looking for a senior-level product management role. This entire process took him about an hour.
Received Interview Calls from 7 Companies
After using the custom GPT, Saurabh started receiving interview calls within two months from companies like Reddit, Intuit, and PayPal. Following all the interviews, he finally started his new job at PayPal. Saurabh states that this experience has convinced him that if AI is used correctly, it can prove to be a game-changer in job searching as well.
