Bhain Kicks Off ₹17.02 Crore Amhatbhain Road Widening Project with MLA Vinod Singh

Location and Work: The Amhatbhain Road (approximately 8 kilometers in length) in Bhain town is to be widened.

Sanctioned Amount: An amount of approximately ₹17.02 crore (₹ 1702.69 lakh) has been sanctioned for this project.

Objective: The widening of this road will facilitate easier commuting for local residents, improve traffic flow between rural and urban areas, and reduce the likelihood of accidents.

Officials Present/Involved: On this occasion, MLA Vinod Singh performed the Bhoomi Pujan (ground-breaking ceremony) and laid the foundation stone. Local village head, departmental officials, and others were present.

Current Status: According to reports, the process of 'accelerating the widening work' has already commenced.

Last year, a proposal for widening another road (Amhatbhader Road) in the same area was also made at a cost of ₹17.56 crore.

Such road-widening schemes benefit local farmers, traders, and village councils as they improve the movement of goods vehicles and passengers.

However, it is also noteworthy that complaints regarding "sluggishness," "quality," or "insufficient monitoring" have also emerged in other road projects within the same district. For instance, there were reports of newly constructed dividers breaking, and issues with monitoring and
