Anger has spread across all communities against Anirudh Singh, son of Maharaja Vishvendra Singh, for removing the princely state's flag from Moti Mahal in Bharatpur. The public and the Jat community are demanding administrative intervention.

Bharatpur: The incident of removing the princely state's flag from Moti Mahal in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan has caused a stir. Following the information that Anirudh Singh, son of Maharaja Vishvendra Singh, removed this flag and installed another, widespread resentment has erupted across the district. Vishvendra Singh himself shared the information about this matter through his Facebook page.

After this incident, deep anger has been observed among the public. Especially the people of the Jat community have started holding Panchayats of all communities to protest. People have stated that if the princely state's flag is not re-installed by September 21, they will go to the palace themselves and re-establish it.

Property Dispute Between Father and Son in Bharatpur Princely State

A dispute over property and rights has been ongoing for several years between Maharaja Vishvendra Singh of the former Bharatpur princely state and his son Anirudh Singh. Due to the dispute, Vishvendra Singh left his Moti Mahal many years ago and started living on a farmhouse. Despite this, his son Anirudh Singh has been consistently making comments on social media against his father regarding the property dispute.

Local people state that Vishvendra Singh has always united people of all castes and religions, maintaining social harmony in the district. On the other hand, Anirudh Singh's continuous critical comments have spread resentment in society.

Unity in Panchayats After Flag Removal

After Vishvendra Singh informed about the flag removal on Facebook, Panchayats were held at various places. People from all communities have united against Anirudh Singh. They have submitted a memorandum to the District Superintendent of Police and the Collector, giving an ultimatum that if the flag is not re-installed by September 21, they will march to Moti Mahal themselves.

Furthermore, Vishvendra Singh had previously filed a complaint against his son and wife Divya Singh for forging signatures and breaking open a locker. A delegation of the Jat community met the District Superintendent of Police today to gather information on this matter.

King Man Singh Had Protested Removal of Flag in 1985

The princely state's flag holds immense historical and cultural significance in Bharatpur. In 1985, during the time of the Congress government and Chief Minister Shiv Charan Mathur, a political flag was also hoisted after removing this same flag, which angered King Man Singh. At that time, he protested by ramming his jeep into the Chief Minister's helicopter at the helipad.

This history demonstrates that the princely state's flag is not merely symbolic but represents the glorious tradition and honor of Bharatpur. This is precisely why there is deep anger among the people against Anirudh Singh.

District Administration Engages in Dialogue with Locals and Jat Community

Currently, Anirudh Singh and his mother Divya Singh are not in Bharatpur, but the police and administration are keeping a strict vigil on the entire situation. The district administration is continuing to hold discussions with local people and leaders of the Jat community.

The administration is taking steps towards maintaining security and peace to resolve this dispute. There is also a possibility of the public marching to the palace if the flag is not re-installed by September 21.
